The High Court of Punjab and Haryana on Monday put a hold on the demolition drive in violence-hit Nuh district’s Mewat in Haryana. The high court also took suo motu cognisance of the matter. Authorities in the Nuh district bulldozed a three-storey hotel while continuing its action against "illegal" construction for the fourth consecutive day on Sunday.
