CBI Inspector Kumar (Prem Nath) gets a shock when his wife, Ashoo (Bindu), is found cheating on him with another male. Enraged, he asks both of them to leave immediately. He does not permit Ashoo to take their only son, Prakash (Rakesh Roshan), along with her. Prakash has grown up, and is now employed with a business firm, whose owner is Mohan (Prem Chopra).
