अमेरिका में एक भारतीय मूल के सांसद ने अमेरिकी संसद में 15 अगस्त को National Day of Celebration डिक्लेयर करने का प्रस्ताव पेश किया है और भारत में अमेरिकी सांसदों का एक दल भारत के इंडिपेंडेंस डे सेलिब्रेशन में हिस्सा लेने भी आ रहा है. जबकि पाकिस्तान के हालात इतने खराब हैं कि वहां के लोग 14 अगस्त यानि अपनी आजादी के दिन को ब्लैक डे के तौर पर मनाने की तैयारी कर रहे हैं.

An Indian-origin MP in America has proposed to declare August 15 as National Day of Celebration in the US Parliament and a team of American MPs is also coming to India to participate in India's Independence Day celebration. While the condition of Pakistan is so bad that the people there are preparing to celebrate August 14 i.e. the day of their independence as Black Day.
