Vaishno Devi (also known as Durga, Mata Rani, Trikuta, Ambe and Vaishnavi) is a folk manifestation and a form of the Supreme Hindu Mother Goddess, Adishakti also referred to as Durga. The words "Maa" and "Mata" are commonly used in India for mother, and thus are often heavily used in connection with Vaishno Devi. Vaishnavi was formed from the combined energies of Parvati, Lakshmi, and Saraswati having the principal energy of Durga overall. The temple is located in Katra, India.
