भगवद गीता यथारूप अध्याय - ६ : ध्यानयोग

अष्टांग-योग, एक यांत्रिक ध्यान अभ्यास हैं जो मन और इंद्रियों को नियंत्रित करता है और परमात्मा (हृदय में स्थित भगवान का रूप) के रूप में एकाग्रता से ध्यान केंद्रित करता है। यह अभ्यास समाधि को प्राप्त करता हैं जहाँपर व्यक्ति पूर्णतः परमात्मा पर लीन हो जाता हैं।

Astanga-yoga, a mechanical meditative practice, controls the mind and the senses and focuses concentration on Paramatma (the Supersoul, the form of the Lord situated in the heart). This practice culminates in samadhi, full consciousness of the Supreme.
